UKA Privacy & Data Protection Statement

As a UK based organisation, UK Autoharps operates in accordance with relevant ‘Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations’  and   ‘General Data Protection Regulations’ tailored by UK Data Protection Act 2018.

The personal data of UKA members and friends who have granted their permissions, will be used solely for communicating information relating to membership and events run by UK Autoharps. Also regular newsletters containing matters of interest and other related offers and promotions. You have the option to Opt Out of these communicatuions at any time by clicking the UNSUBSCRIBE butoon located at the bottom of every emai.

We hold data for as long as deemed relevant by UKA or untill its removal is requested.

We may ask for personal data necessary to provide the service you request or are entitled to, and in most cases, includes but is not limited to, your name and contact details.

The purpose of processing is the service or entitlement for which the information is being collected, and your personal data will not be used for another purpose, unless further specified on the form collecting the information, or otherwise provided to you as appropriate, or as provided for by law. We also may use your information to verify your identity where required, contact you by post, email or telephone and to maintain our records.

We will not sell, distribute or disclose any information we hold on you to any third parties unless you have provided your consent or are required or permitted to do so by the law.

This privacy statement does not cover those websites that we may provide links to, and we accept no responsibility for their privacy policies provided by those sites or any loss or damage arising out of their policies.
